Bear caught on camera breaking into New Hampshire car

A New Hampshire homeowner’s security camera recorded the moment a bear wandered up to a car parked in the driveway, opened the door and went inside.

The footage, recorded outside a home in Thornton, shows the bear opening the car door and going inside in an apparent search for food.

The Thornton Police Department said there have been multiple reports in recent days of a bear opening the doors of parked cars and rummaging around inside for food and trash.

“Please remember to remove food items from your vehicles and do not leave your trash bags outside or in your trunks or truck beds,” the department said in a Facebook post.
